Там описан способ установки этого патча с последующей сборкой Lirc из сорцов. У меня Лирц уже установлен из репов, поэтому какой смысл сносить нормальный пакет который автоматически обновляется системой и ставить неизвестно как работающий такой же пакет только собранный неизвестно как и который нужно будет обновлять вручную. Может возможно этот патч установить на уже установленный Лирц? :?
Что касается старой машины с COM- портом. У меня только ноутбук с 3 USB портами и с линуксом. На работе с одним парнем попробуем проверить этот приемник через COM и потом через переходник но там только винда стоит. Это будет полезно т.к. буду точно уверен что схема рабочая и все проблеммы из-за этой глючной программы.

Здравствуйте.
На днях проверил я свой ИК-приемник/передатчик на работе от СОМ-порта при помощи программы WINLIRC все работает нормально есть и передача и прием от пульта (в окне программы появляются буквы и цифры). С переходником тишина. Скачивал я разные варианты драйверов этого переходника для линукса, но ни один из них так и не смог установить (кстати в интернете многие пишут о том, что они не ставятся). Если кому-то будет интересно я могу их выслать для лабораторных исследований и молекулярно-генетического анализа патологий этого штампа "драйвера" :D :)
По поводу поддержки этого переходника ядром, похоже в версии ядра 4.1.5-040105-generic она уже есть т.к. в /lib/modules/4.1.5-040105-generic/kernel/drivers/usb/serial/cp210x.ko есть файл cp210x.ko который собственно и устанавливается при помощи тех же драйверов.
Вот текст описания установки одного из вариантов тех драйверов:

GPIO example:

Как видно из этого описания у меня он уже установлен в ядро. Нужно наверное еще задать какие-то параметры в каких-то конфигурационных файлах для его опознания как эмулятора сом-порта.
Еще я собрал другой переходник по этой ссылке:http://sprinter4wd.narod.ru/poleznye_melochi/usbrs232/ добавив туда согласно даташиту на микросхему переключатель уровня выходного сигнала 5В/ 3,3В. Вот, что выдают lsusb и dmesg :

Вроде все нормально опозналось. Только мне не понятны эти две строчки :

Судя по первой строке этот переходник не полностью эмулирует сом-порт, а во второй зачем-то предлагают связаться с kernel.org для добавления этого девайса в поддержку ядра, хотя вроде она и так существует причем и в лирце похоже тоже. При подсоединении моего ик- приемника/передатчика почему-то все время светится светодиод передачи хотя при проверке от сом-порта в винде и от всторого переходника такого явления не наблюдалось. Переключение уровня выходного сигнала ничего не меняет.
Хотел я протестировать через заглушку эти переходники на прием и передачу при помощи программ CuteCom и minicom но первая абсолютно не работает несмотря на то, что ставится из репов, а во второй я указываю там свой переходник как ttyUSB0 сохраняю файл как fdi и выхожу (при этом я проверил, что файл действительно создался и в нем указан именно мой этот интерфейс) но при запуске minicom всеравно почему-то выводится интерфейс ttyS0 и не происходит никакой реакции на нажатия клавиш. Похоже пока я не запущу нормальную работу хоть одного из этих переходников, дальше двигаться нет смысла. Куда еще копать я уже не знаю. :shock: :?
На днях посмотрю работу этого переходника в винде и попробую свою самоделку с ним, если там все заработает нормально, останется только писать только в kernel.org за помощью в решении этой прблеммы.

Попробуй, может действительно помогут... В прекрасное далеко точно не пошлют :), хотя ожидание может быть долгим :?

Здравствуйте.
За прошедшее время мне удалось только запустить свой самодельный переходник на FT232RL микросхеме в WINE и проверить его работу с помощью заглушки и программы SerialNetTools все передается и принимается как часы. Сам порт определился как Com2. B Самом линуксе пока никаких подвижек.
Программа CuteCom вообще не открывает ни один из портов.
Может возможно как-то организовать управление от ИК-порта через виндовский лирц+ Wine? Кто-то имел опыт такого извращенного управления? опишите пожалуйста как все это организовать.
С покупным переходником ВМ8050 вообще тишина. Он не запускается ни в винде (не смотря на установку его драйверов) ни в линуксе. Описал эту проблемму и отправил производителю, пока в ответ тишина. Видимо ни только у меня с ним проблеммы :D.
Просьба подскажите, как настроить управление компом через связку WINLIRC + Wine. Также, где можно найти методику настройки лирц для управления отдельными приложениями (например: запуск и управление проигрывателями VLC и Totem, RadioTray, управление внешним USB тв тюнером) :?
